Message From the Principal |
|
As you probably know, this is my last year as your principal. I have been elected President of Associated Administrators of Los Angeles (AALA), the administrators’ union, and will start in that position on July 1st. While I’m excited about this new experience, I’m very sad to be leaving. The Hancock Park School community will always hold a special place in my heart. I have looked forward to coming to school every day during the past 8½ years. Being your principal hasn’t felt like “work” in the traditional sense because together we’ve created an extended family that nurtures and challenges our students. While change isn’t easy, I am confident that the person who replaces me will continue to work closely with you to earn your trust and support. I hope that you will be actively involved in your children’s education and remain focused on our school’s vision: All students will develop into lifelong learners, who communicate effectively, become resourceful problem solvers and creative thinkers, embrace diversity, and fulfill their potential through academic excellence and global awareness. - Dr. Judith Perez |

Our New Principal is Ms. Ashley Parker! |
|
It is with great pleasure that we announce Dr. Perez's replacement and welcome our new principal: our very own Assistant Principal, Ms. Ashley Parker!! Ms. Parker's leadership, compassion, dedication and enthusiasm will ensure a smooth transition in these turbulent times -- as well as sustaining the vision for excellence in education that Hancock Park Elementary prides itself on. Congratulations to Ms. Parker!
We are lucky to have her! |
