CHAMPIONS USA runs the on-site after school care program at Hancock Park School.  We are eager to share our enthusiasm and experience in after-school programming.  You will find our program to be unique and educational.

Our qualified staff ensures that CHAMPIONS programs are positive experiences for students, staff, and parents.  Our staff is comprised of a group of highly qualified childcare professionals from diverse backgrounds in teaching, coaching, and after-school programming.  This range of experience expands our ability to reach the spectrum from academics to athletics, socialization skills to memorable fun.

CHAMPIONS is pleased once again to provide Hancock Park Elementary School with
its on-site after-school program for the 2010/2011 school year! You have a number of excellent options for enrichments and after school programs at Hancock Park Elementary School.

• Above and Beyond Program (AnB)

  For families in need of comprehensive child care, please enroll in the Above and Beyond Program (AnB), $255/month. Students enrolled in AnB will receive one Enrichment Class per day, snack, homework assistance, the comfort of a strict sign in and sign out system, and extra recreation and enrichment until 6pm every day school is in session.

• After School Academy

  Mr. Martini, one of Hancock Park’s finest teachers, oversees the After School Academy. This academic assistance program costs $330/month for Grades 1-5 and is perfect for families looking for a strictly academic program for their children. There is a Kindergarten Academy Option for $285/month. An English Language Learners Option is also offered for $330/month.
  
  

• CHAMPIONS Enrichment Classes

  Enroll your child in a huge range of arts, sports, and alternative individual classes offered Monday through Friday from 2:45 pm- 3:45 pm (1:45 pm-2:45 pm on Bank Day Tuesdays). On average a 10 class session costs about $120. Look for the class catalog in September.

ideas about self and community, programs in which parents feel confident that their child is learning in a positive environment and manner. Our goal is to build and deliver safe, organized and educational programs.

Other After School Choices

After School Library

Booster Club provides the funds for our library to stay open for children in Grades 1-5 every day after school from 2:45pm - 4:30pm. Mary Melendez invites children to sign-in, read quietly and get help with homework in a pleasant environment. There is no cost for your child to use the After School Library.

Beyond the Bell Playground

Our playground is open daily for children in Grades 1-5 until 6:00pm. Our East Youth Services Coach will provide supervision and group activities for students. There is no cost for your child to stay in the playground and participate in Beyond the Bell activities.

We want to thank all the Hancock Park School families, friends, teachers and staff for their combined involvement in the Booster Club activities this past year. Despite the economic downturn, we succeeded in meeting our fundraising goals for the year and accomplished some fantastic projects for the school.
