Writers Workshop
The Writers Workshop moves away from rigid, formulaic instruction, instead embracing a student-centered environment that fosters creativity and agency. Students learn traditional skills and concepts in the writing process, learning to grow as creative writers across all genres.
Writers Workshop teaches Voice, Ideas, Presentation, Conventions, and Organization. More importantly, students dedicate most of their time writing, editing, sharing, and peer-reviewing original work as teachers provide ongoing feedback to help student grow and flourish as writers.
Social Emotional Learning
Trauma-Responsive Pedagogy offers practical and digestible insights into trauma-informed education, emphasizing holistic wellness for both students and educators.
